This summer has been all about hanging out at home. Clinton and I have enjoyed the slow pace of no schedule and no demands (except dad's lunch at noon). I thought I would share a couple of pictures of Clinton "hanging out." Clinton and Hank are becoming better friends everyday. The box has been one of his favorite toys of the summer - go figure! My goal is to post a few more pictures before the end of the month...only time will tell!

Seattle
We went to Seattle a couple of weeks ago to meet our newest family member, Caleb! He is so adorable - but big surprise I didn't manage to take any pictures of him - I am still new at this photographer role. However, I did get the camera out when our family went downtown Seattle. I had to document it because I realized that this is a once-in-a-very-long-time event. We had a great sight-seeing adventure and enjoyed an unseasonably nice day in Seattle. But I would have to say the highlight of our trip was the 6lb bundle of joy back at Susie and Kevin's house :)

It's Official
Clinton is crawling! He started moving forward this weekend, taking two or three "steps" at a time. Tonight - he chose to crawl across the entire living room! He doesn't seem to truly understand what this means (his parents aren't sure either) and we question if he will remember how to do it in the morning...only time will tell. We keep hearing how this great milestone will eventually become one that we wished never happened. For tonight, we are going to rejoice that the day finally came!
As for the last picture (or possibly the first one considering I have trouble remembering how to load the pictures so that they are in the order I plan) I couldn't leave it out, as it is a reminder that my son doesn't fall far from the tree. Aren't they the cutest pair of men a women could ever want? I love them both so much!

Self Feeding
Clinton loves to eat - tonight he thought he should feed himself! What a disaster - maybe not our best parenting decision - but it sure created a precious photo session.
On another note, tonight we heard Clinton's first tooth. While he was taking a drink from a glass we heard, "tink, tink, tink." What a big guy!
The biggest and best news for these new parents is that Clinton is sleeping in a bit! We had our first 7:30 a.m. sleep-in on Easter morning - and only one middle of the night wake-up! Can I say heaven?
