We had beautiful weather this afternoon so we went on an adventure to the River. Our plan was to checkout the ferry that Todd's family used when they farmed across the Columbia. As soon as we got out of the pickup Loretta ran under the ferry and found some furry friends. It was a family of five beavers, four of them quickly went for a swim while the beaver in the picture decided to protect the den from our puppy. Loretta tried to swim after her new "friends" (she really wanted to play) but they proved to be much more advanced swimmers than she is. All in all it was a glorious day.
